3 phases / 17 classes, 1.5 hours per class $25 (includes Bouldering League registration!) Come join us for a brand new iteration of FCC with Bouldering League registration and participation included! Join our instructors in this fun and socail offering that reviews fundamental movements, teaches you how to train for and improve your bouldering performace, and coaches you through a friendly and exciting competition!   Phase 1: Base; 4 weeks / 7 classes Phase 1 is your base fitness phase in which we review movement fundamentals and introduce how to train for climbing. You’ll Learn Warm-up and movement drills Climbing lingo Specific climbing endurance workouts   Phase 2: Power and strength; 3 weeks / 6 classes Phase 2 is your power and strength phase which introduces power training through climbing and basic strength training through supplemental activities. You’ll Learn Advanced warm-up drills Complex movemnt drills Hangboarding, systems board use, and strengthening opposing muscle groups.     Phase 3: Performance; 5 weeks / 4 classes / 1 awards party on June 5th! This is your performance and projecting phase. It is the official start of Bouldering League where your instructor coaches you as you apply all of your new skills. You will experience success, and learn through failure by trying hard alongside your friends.   You’ll Learn Sequencing moves step-by-step How to measure success while projecting Staying stoked through failure   Cool Perks Meeting new partners and friends Bouldering League registration is included Bouldering League awards party attendance on June 5th - the first night of The Front's 2024 Summer Music Series!     Next classes to take Top-Rope Orientation or Intro to Climbing, then Mastering 5.10   For any additional accommodation requests for this program, please fill out this form: Accommodation Requests   Examples include earplugs or altered light/music levels for light and noise sensitivity, assisted physical support systems, priority classroom placement, minor class instruction adjustments, an interpreter or caller, etc.  We will need a minimum of 48 hours to provide reasonable accommodation. One full week of prior notice to the class is preferred for larger accommodation requests.
