CITIZENS SCORING

  • There will be 10 boulders per category. Climbers will have 2 hours to climb as many as they can within their round.
  • Each boulder is worth 100 points.
  • One point will be taken off for each attempt.
  • There is a flash bonus of 10 points.
  • Each score for a climb can only be logged once.
  • The first place winner for each division (the climber with the most points logged by the end of assigned round) will be crowned the winner for their division!

SETTERS SCORING

After you send each route, please rate the route on the star rating system on Pebble. After both rounds, we will pull all route grades and use the results to crown the favorite Setter during social hour!

Nope! In fact, a two week trial membership is included in your registration, so you can check us out outside the comp. Take a climbing class, try yoga or group fitness, and stay a while longer at The Front!

Check out memberships and all of the awesome amenities that come with them at Salt Lake City, Ogden, and South Main.

Comp Etiquette

First and foremost, our comps are meant to be fun and to establish camaraderie within our community. These are a great way to meet and climb with those who share your love of the sport. We encourage you to be supportive of your fellow climber.

Here are some etiquette guidelines
  • Wait your turn and be courteous.
  • Stay off the pads if you’re not climbing.
  • Be safe – don’t walk, run or climb under others.
  • Don’t get frustrated; stay positive and have fun!
First time?
  • Be sure to watch others for beta.
  • Pace yourself – remember it’s a timed event, not a race!
  • Don’t take it too seriously! Don’t be intimidated by the term “competition.”
