Your Front membership gets you so much more than just access to climbing walls! Try out our full roster of offerings with other newbies and leave with confidence, new buddies, and your new favorite activity.

Intro to Climbing

Participants must be age 14 or older.

This class is the one-shop stop for your fundamental climbing needs! Taught over the course of two 2-hour sessions, Intro to Climbing includes a Top-Rope Lesson, Bouldering Orientation, Autobelay Orientation, and basic movement instruction, giving you all the tools you need to kick off your climbing journey.

Intro to Climbing is also a great way to learn your way around the gym, meet new friends, and experience all the climbing our facilities have to offer. Guests who start a membership the same day they take the class get their start-up fee waived! Rental gear is included.

  • Putting on a harness
  • Tying-in
  • Top-rope belaying and communication
  • Bouldering etiquette
  • Falling considerations while bouldering
  • Autobelay use
  • Hand and foothold types
  • Secure moving and resting
  • Climbing rating systems

Intro to Yoga

New to yoga or need a refresher? Come experience all the mental and physical benefits of this ancient practice. A consistent yoga practice will help you find more inner peace, focus, calmness, strength, flexibility and agility of body and mind, and so much more! All bodies can benefit from yoga, and we welcome everyone! All you need is a mat, some clothes that stretch, and the willingness to show up as you are and give it a try! In this class, you will experience all six movements of the spine, holding some simple postures (asanas) sequenced in a body-intelligent way with warm up and cool down, along with some easy breathing and mind calming techniques. We hope to help you fall in love with yoga as much as we have!

Beginner Wheel Throwing

This class is perfect for beginners! At the end of this 6-session class, you’ll leave with a new-found appreciation for this art form and confidence in your new skills. You can then take advantage of Open Studio hours and continue to learn at your own pace! Through the course you’ll learn these essential techniques:

  • Center clay
  • Pull walls
  • Make a cylinder
  • How to trim
  • Basic glazing

Beginner Hand Building

Want to learn an ancient art? Hand Building is for you! At the end of this 6-session class, you’ll leave with a deep admiration for these techniques and excitement for your new skills. Lean into that confidence and hop into Open Studio hours afterward! Through the course you’ll learn these essential techniques:

  • How to use pinch, coil, and slab techniques
  • How to form a cylinder
  • Basic glazing

Group Fitness

Intro to Strength & Conditioning

Jump start your fitness journey or level up your workout game with Intro to Strength & Conditioning. This class will dive into bodyweight movements and basic weight training using popular gym equipment available at all our Front facilities (dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, etc.). If you’re new to fitness or weightlifting, looking to establish a regular workout or training routine, or want to set yourself up for success with good form, this is the class for you. Plus. you’ll get to meet an amazing community of likeminded athletes!

Intro to HIIT/Cardio

Ready to sweat? Get your heart rate up, work on proper form, and learn efficient, dynamic movement. In our Intro to HIIT (high-intensity interval training) class, your instructor is with you every step of the way to help you feel confident and comfortable in a fun and safe environment!
