Participants must be age 14 or older.
This class is the one-shop stop for your fundamental climbing needs! Taught over the course of two 2-hour sessions, Intro to Climbing includes a Top-Rope Lesson, Bouldering Orientation, and basic movement instruction, giving you all the tools you need to kick off your climbing journey.
Intro to Climbing is also a great way to learn your way around the gym, meet new friends, and experience all the climbing our facilities have to offer. Guests who start a membership the same day they take the class get their start-up fee waived! Rental gear is included.
Intro to Lifting will help you learn good form and familiarize yourself with foundational strength training movements, using various equipment that The Front offers (i.e. barbells, squat racks, cables, free weights, etc.).
All levels are welcome to this class, especially anyone wanting to learn or expand their knowledge of weightlifting by training in the main gym space.
Expect to get a great workout, receive coaching from our trainers to perform your best, and improve your gym confidence!
This course is designed to provide new students with a confident foundation to step into The Front’s Jiu-Jitsu program. The curriculum will cover Jiu-Jitsu movement, self-defense, and positional hierarchy, as well as introduce students to the sport’s culture before transitioning to our regularly scheduled program. This course is free for members.
