A consistent yoga practice will help you find more inner peace, focus, calmness, strength, flexibility and agility of body and mind, and so much more! All bodies can benefit from yoga, and we welcome everyone. All you need is a mat, some clothes that stretch, and the willingness to show up as you are. Yoga at The Front Climbing Club is the only yoga shala (school) in Utah with teachers authorized by R. Sharath Jois of Mysore, India, the current head teacher or “guru” of Ashtanga yoga.
In group fitness, we encourage athletes to get to know, support, high-five, and cheer on one another. We want everyone to be inspired by those working hard beside them. Healthy competition is encouraged in our group fitness classes. In one hour of group fitness, we become a team.
The Front's Ascent Series climbing classes are designed for climbers at all levels, from beginner to experienced. From introductory classes to private coaching, the ultimate goal of the Ascent Series is to build stronger, more confident and more intelligent climbers. Start your journey to climbing mastery!
Tai chi is extremely popular around the world, especially in Asia, and for good reason: it’s an internal art that’s reflected outwardly through smooth, peaceful patterns of movement and alignment. We believe everyone can benefit greatly from this ancient, mysterious practice. Tai chi helps promote health, injury recovery, balance, stress relief, strength, and groundedness.
Bringing Salt Lake’s dynamic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community to our South Main location, The Front Jiu-Jitsu Collective offers the opportunity to train with dedicated instructors from around the Wasatch Front. The Front offers both gi and no-gi Jiu-Jitsu classes that involve warmup drills, technique instruction, partner drills and live sparring (AKA "rolling"). These classes incorporate elements of self-defense and modern sport Jiu-Jitsu techniques.
Adaptive Climbing at The Front’s mission is to empower, support and assist the adaptive climbing community along Utah’s Wasatch Front. Wherever you’re at in your climbing journey, we’ll meet you there! Trained staff can provide the systems and techniques to get you on, and up, the wall. Meet other adaptive athletes and find your own unique approach to the sport of climbing.
Connect with your creative side and develop your mind and body through the ancient practice of ceramics. Studio 1396 is located two doors north of our flagship SLC location, and is members-only! Studio access is totally free and included with your Front membership.
A full day of celebration, with no RSVP and no cost! Bring your buddies, your parents, that one neighbor you say hey to on your morning walk – everyone is invited to check us out and enjoy the vibes all day long.
