Ascent Series Climbing Classes

The Ascent Series is designed with your progression in mind. The full track of classes brings you from introductory skills and movement to advanced and individualized support, building stronger, more confident, and more intelligent climbers. So, what are you waiting for?

All group climbing classes are included with your Front membership or day pass, with no limits on how many classes you can attend. 

Classes include Intro to Climbing, Mastering 5.10, Learn to Lead, and Lead Climbing With Confidence, Climbing Clubs and more.

Yoga & Tai Chi

Yoga and tai chi classes at The Front are an excellent place for anyone, from a beginner to a long-term practitioner.

The Front offers yoga and tai chi classes for both members and guests. New members as well as drop-ins are always welcome. If you’re not yet a member and would like to try a class out, your first class is on us!  We provide unique classes and care about our practitioners. Our classes offer a non-competitive environment that is conducive to learning and expanding one’s ability.

The Salt Lake City and South Main locations are home to Salt Lake Ashtanga Yoga the most extensive Ashtanga Yoga program in Utah! We are the only yoga shala (school) in Utah authorized by R. Sharath Jois of Mysore, India, the current head teacher or “guru” of Ashtanga Yoga. 

Ogden is home to The Front Yogaloft, which focuses on creating a welcoming space where breath and movement come together for each of us in our own way. It is the Yogaloft’s strong belief that your yoga is as unique as you are. It’s your practice.

Group Fitness

Get motivated, get strong! With over twenty unique offerings from 6am until 8pm, you’re bound to find your new favorite thing. Barre, HIIT, Spin, Strength and more are offered daily across our three locations. All group fitness classes are free for members, and guests are welcome with a day pass.

Private Coaching, Customized Training, & Clinics

Achieve your personal fitness goals with support and planning.

Our specialized training programs are built just for you, based on your goals. Join a seasonal clinic or find your perfect ongoing training plan from one of our experienced personal trainers, either in-person or virtually.

Our in-house personal trainers are always open to having an honest conversation with you about whether we are the best fit to help you achieve your training goals. Our personal trainers offer both fully customized training programs, as well as one-on-one coaching.

The Front Jiu-Jitsu Collective

Bringing Salt Lake’s dynamic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community to the third floor of our 4140 South Main facility, The Front Jiu-Jitsu Collective offers the opportunity to train with dedicated instructors from around the Wasatch Front.

The Front Jiu-Jitsu Collective is a gathering of instructors and students from various schools around the Wasatch Front. We welcome practitioners of all levels and belts.
