How are your goals for 2026 going? Have you stuck with them so far?
You’ve already set some SMART goals for the year, of course, since you remember our blog about about that from a couple years ago – here’s the link for any new friends who want to see what it’s all about though. This month, whether you’re pursuing a new goal, rewriting and recalibrating it already, or still making good on old ones, we want to support you.

Kait, Gym Staff + Communications Specialist
GOAL:
Get a red dot on lead
HOW I’LL DO IT:
Focus on pushing myself with lead climbing. I want to join the lead club and work with my community to feel more confident on the wall! Taking advantage of the training area will definitely be a priority. I want to use the training boards for finger and static strength and auto-belays for endurance training.
NAME:
Dani, General Manager
GOAL:
Meet new climbing and fitness friends
HOW I’LL DO IT:
I want to attend more group fitness classes and climbing clubs! There are so many amazing members in our community, and I hope to start building stronger relationships with them!

GOAL:
Climb a 5.13
HOW I’LL DO IT:
I want to be more consistent with my training and climbing schedule, along with spending more time using the hang boards and kilter board.

GOAL:
Build climbing endurance
HOW I’LL DO IT:
I want to spend more time on the tall walls and less time bouldering to really help improve my endurance strength. The auto-belay is a great way to train solo, but I hope to climb with friends for even more support!

Add everyday movement to my routine
HOW I’LL DO IT:
How I will achieve my goal: Attending classes, hitting the autobelay, and utilizing cardio machines are simple and comfortable ways to make daily movement a habit.

Be a beginner and try new things
HOW I’LL DO IT:
I want to spend more time in the pottery studio and sign up for a multi-week course. I also want to try yoga, just need to sign up for a class!

Make stretching routine
HOW I’LL DO IT:
I plan on taking more yoga classes. We offer so many classes for beginners to advanced, and I know there are classes that will help me achieve this goal.

GOAL:
Complete my Yoga Teacher Training and take two yoga classes a week.
HOW I’LL DO IT:
The Front offers an amazing Yoga Teacher Training program and I’ve been able to work towards getting my certificate, and this year I will complete it!

GOAL:
Climb 3 times a week
HOW I’LL DO IT:
I want to focus on improving my climbing in all aspects. My goal is to spend two days on boards, moon and tension, and one day doing my normal climbing.
